Today, I am thankful for a family friend that just happens to be E's ENT. After a pediatrician visit yesterday that left us with some unexpected bad news, I am thankful for the doctor friend that "fit us in" today so he could take a look....and come to find out the bad news was not true at all....E just has a nasty ear infection ... with rest and meds she will be good as new. In the span of 24 hours, I went from thinking E would need surgery to knowing that a few basic prescriptions would get her on the road back to health. Thankful, indeed.
