...and please don't come another day! Our poor lace bark elm has taken another beating, and will have to have about five more branches taken out....and our Chinese Pistache by our driveway is going to have to come down.....see the huge crack down the trunk? It already had a small crack that we noticed last year. We "cabled" the tree to try to help it heal. Well, the cabling did keep it from falling on our home and our neighbor's home, but now we're going to lose the poor tree anyway. Our neighborhood really took a beating. Almost every single home has tree damage of varying severity, and many have roof damage as well. Nothing like Texas weather!(These poor baby doves and their mommy must have lost their nest in the fray...they've been camping by our front door for a while now...I can hear them calling to each other from inside the house!)
